Indoor Flying!
Indoor Flying at the Dome
Fly Chicagoland’s biggest indoor dome! The White Pines Golf Club has a
marvelous indoor venue for flying.
For safety, please bring your own LiPo-Guard or equivalent if you plan to charge
batteries in the Dome.
Directions to the Dome
Take Illinois Route 83 (Kingery Expressway) to Third St (aka Jefferson Av) and
drive east to White Pines Golf Club.
Don't forget to take a look at the Dome flying
rules before coming out. Everyone is responsible for safety, and knowing the
rules is where you start.
SRCB Dome E-Niter
Suburban R/C Barnstormers again host
DOME E-NITER! All-night,
indoor flying for electric airplanes and small (450 size and below) helicopters.
For the first time SRCB brings you the Winner's Choice raffle. The raffle
winner chooses between a RTF Heli-Max Novus CP helicopter OR a RTF
Delta Twin EDF park jet from API! Either way, you come out a real winner!
As an extra incentive, our sponsor
TrueRC will be giving away a 3S LiPo
battery pack to the first 100 pilots who register! Get there early or you'll
miss out on this great promotion.
We're pleased to announce that registration will conveniently take place
inside the dome this year. No more confusion in traveling between
buildings!

Well fellow hobbyists, it's been exactly 2 years to the day since I took the helm as webmaster, and they said "It'll go about 2 years - always does." They didn't know why, but they were right. A considerably younger, much quicker, and exceedingly more computer-eze knowledgeable Marty Schrader has generously offered to take a whack at webmaster. Marty has considerable experience as club's webmaster and will do a great job for the Barnstormers. See you at the fields and functions with my trusty video camera. Scott Barrie
